Data & Privacy¶

The Privacy screen in the app (drawer → Privacy) shows what Areto keeps about you, how it is protected, and how to erase all of it.

What is stored¶

• Profile — name, age, language, time zone, level.
• Conversations and memory — the conversation history and what Areto remembered from it, to come back to what was said.
• Reviews and practices — day review outcomes, noticed patterns, tasks and the feedback on them.

How it is protected¶

• A closed database. The data lives in Areto's own database with no access from the internet. The only way in is through your Telegram.
• Several layers of protection. A signed Telegram login, an encrypted connection, admin access only with two-factor confirmation and a log of every action.
• Not for sharing. The data is not sold, not handed to third parties and not used for anything but the conversation with you. To answer, a language model processes the text of your message — it does not train on it.

Delete everything¶

There is one reset, and it is the whole account. The "Delete everything" button on the Privacy screen opens a confirmation sheet: what goes, a tick "I understand this is forever", and only after the tick does the delete button come alive.

Everything is erased: conversations, memory, reviews, practices, profile and the account itself. After that the app opens as it does for a new person — from the introduction. Nothing can be brought back. No reason needed.

If the deletion did not go through — network or server — tap again: a retry finishes the job.
